Red Lion Area School District (RLASD) is committed to enhancing the safety and security of its schools. On February 13, the district attended its inaugural training session with The Pennsylvania School Safety Institute (PennSSI), marking the beginning of a comprehensive safety initiative.
This immersive training session, which will be the first of many, is designed to equip leaders with vital skills and knowledge to effectively manage safety protocols and respond to emergencies. RLASD is dedicated to fostering a secure environment for all students and staff, and this initiative underscores its commitment to prioritizing safety.
The Pennsylvania School Safety Institute (PennSSI) fosters safe and secure school communities through immersive scenarios and classroom trainings. PennSSI serves those who are tasked with keeping students and staff safe and works to equip individuals with the skills to address emerging security threats that may occur in school buildings, on district property or at other locations where students and staff may be present.
